Welcome to my blog!
If you are expecting me to rant about random bus information here, I'm sorry. That'll be on my other blog, which will be starting soon as well.
What you will find here will actually have some substance to it.
God has been doing a lot of things in my life over the past few years. Some things quite extraordinary, but mostly quite ordinary things that just happen on a day-to-day basis. And He's teaching me a lot all the time. But one thing He's taught me is if He teaches me something, it would do someone good if I passed it on, and hence, this blog exists.
Now, note that there will be a varied selection of writing here. Some posts will be very deliberate and deep. These will be numbered, as I see them more as teaching modules, if you will. I had a blog in the past that was structured in this way, and I think that it's a very useful structure for teaching. However, the majority of what I post here will simply be me talking about life. This is what will make the substance of this blog, because as we know, teaching is great; but it's the life lived as a Christian that really proves to people God's existence and love.
Obviously, having such an objective causes me to have to live a life that makes me be able to write about it. But remember that life is not perfect and we all face struggles along the way. Nonetheless, what God continues to say is that all trials are for a reason, and they should provide us with opportunities to save someone else from having to learn the same lesson the hard way. And this only happens if we tell them. Hence again, the blog exists.
But a word of caution: I like using big words and proper language. So, although I intend to keep the writing in a conversational style, I think it should be correct enough that an English professor wouldn't cringe. So get your dictionaries ready!
I hope this blog is a help for you as you continue to develop your daily walk with the Lord. I'm not claiming to be an expert on all parts of life, but I am an expert in my own life, and I know that God has designed my life to be an encouragement for others. Evil has always been trying to get this blog to never be written, and by this I know that God intends to use it.
So sit back and enjoy the ride.
